Rental Terms & Conditions:
1. his driver license,
2. his passport, and
3. a valid credit/debit card for payment.
All of the above must be valid and show the name of the car’s driver.
Driving license: The driver’s license for the rented car must be valid and issued at least one year before the rental date.

Photocopies of the driving license, digital licenses and licenses with restrictions will not be accepted.
Driver:
For the car categories A, B, J, V2 the minimum age for car rental is considered to be 21 years, provided that the driver holds a valid driver license for at least one year.
For all the other car categories, the minimum age for car rental is considered to be 25 years, provided that the driver holds a valid driver license for at least one year.
Drivers under 21 years old can only rent car categories A, B, J, V2, with an additional charge of 10€ per rental day, provided that they hold a valid driver license for at least one year.
Car Delivery/Pickup:
Car deliveries/pickups at stations other than those listed on the website are only avail-able upon prior agreement with the company. The minimum charge for Deliv-ery/Pickup service at stations other than those listed is €16, including VAT.
Returning the car to a station different from the pickup station is allowed upon prior agreement with the company and incurs a fee of €20, including VAT.
Car deliveries/pickups outside working hours incur a fee of €25, including VAT.
Deliveries/pickups outside the Attica region can only be arranged upon prior agree-ment with the company, with a charge of €0.95/km for all car categories.
In case the driver delays the car return beyond the agreed time, an additional rental day will be charged.
Payment Methods:
The driver of the rented car can pay with a credit/debit card through the website dur-ing the car reservation process.
All credit and debit cards are accepted.
Prepaid cards are not accepted.
Deposit:
In any case, at the start of the rental, the driver will be asked to provide a valid cred-it/debit card in their name as a guarantee. An amount corresponding to the car catego-ry rented will be blocked on the card. The amount will be unblocked by the company immediately after the end of the rental period, provided that no damages to the car or other charges have occurred. The release of the amount may take up to 14 working days, depending on the issuing bank of the card. The company is not responsible for any bank charges that may be imposed by the issuing bank regarding this process.

Reservation change:
To change your reservation, you need to send a relevant email to contact@ugoathens.com.
In the case of reservation change, the car price and availability may have varied.
Car type change:
The company reserves the right, based on availability, to provide a different car type than the one initially reserved, of a corresponding or higher category.
Reservation cancellation:
For cancellations made up to 5 calendar days before the rental start date, the company will refund the full amount already paid without any additional charges.
For cancellations within a period of less than 5 calendar days, the amount already paid will not be refunded.
In case of driver no-show, the amount already paid will not be refunded.
If the driver does not meet any of the rental terms and conditions, the reservation will be canceled, and the amount already paid will not be refunded
Early car return:
In the case of returning the car earlier than the agreed date, no monetary refund will be provided.
Additional services:
• Additional Driver: Upon reservation, an additional driver can be added with a daily cost of €6.
• Child Seat: Upon reservation, a child seat can be provided with an additional daily cost of €8.
• Baby Seat: Upon reservation, a baby seat can be provided with an additional daily cost of €8.
• Portable Wi-Fi: Upon reservation, a portable Wi-Fi can be provided with an addi-tional cost of €8.
• GPS Navigation System: Upon reservation, a GPS navigation system can be pro-vided with an additional cost of €9.
• Snow Chains: Upon reservation, snow chains can be provided with an additional cost of €12.
All cars are equipped with a first aid kit.
Transportation of pets:
Transportation of pets is allowed under circumstances and prior notification to the company. In any case, the driver must provide the pets passport when requested.
Smoking:
Smoking in rental cars is strictly prohibited.
Transportation of a car abroad:
Transportation of a car abroad is not allowed.
Car transportation by ferry:
Car transportation by ferry is allowed with an additional charge of 10€ per rental day, and the driver assumes full responsibility for any damage that may occur during this process.
Fuel refuelling:
The “same to same tank” policy applies. In the event that the driver returns the car with less fuel, they will be charged for the additional fuel plus 25€, including VAT, for the refuelling service.
Traffic violations:
All traffic violations and fines incurred are solely the responsibility of the car renter.
In case of damage to the rental car, third-party car, or fines due to a traffic violation, an additional charge of €30, including VAT, will be applied to cover administrative expenses, which will be paid by the driver regardless of their liability. This amount will not be refunded under any circumstances.
VAT (Value Added Tax):
The applicable VAT based on current Greek legislation is 24%.
